What We're Looking For
Mountaintop Publishing accepts submissions in fiction, graphic novels, cartoon books, and poetry. We do not publish romance, thriller, or genre fiction in the traditional sense — but we love work that bends and breaks categories.
Fiction
Literary fiction, satiric fiction, experimental fiction. We love a strong voice and an original vision.
Graphic Novels & Comics
Original graphic novels, comic collections, and cartoon books. Finished art preferred but not required for initial inquiry.
Poetry
Collections of any length. We believe poetry is for everyone — not just academics.
Memoir & Non-Fiction
Narrative non-fiction and memoir with a strong literary voice. Think road stories, life stories, music stories.
